Decisions should be made as close to the people as possible. Communities understand their own needs better than distant political interests. Tax policy should not shift burdens onto working Kansans and property owners. Public office should be service, not a career. Voters need to have a choice on the ballot. Kansas should invest in local communities and local opportunity.
I am a sixth-generation Kansas farmer, with 33 years' experience as a certified organic farmer. I graduated from Kansas State University with a major in Agronomy and a minor in Political Science. My interest and education in local, national, and world politics has stayed with me since my graduation 30 years ago.
